The seasons expansion is released!! I'm so excited! Cant wait till its in stores here in Malaysia. I wanted to order it through the internet but I dont think they ship it to Malaysia, nor do I have a credit card

Have any of you gotten yours? Please post pictures once you get yours! Pre-ordering them would give you some special items right? Sadly I won't get them

I'm hoping there isnt much bugs in the game, I wouldn't wanna see my sims freeze do death during summer

 

EP5 escapes on Friday here and I'll be going out to buy myself a nice spiffy copy ... just so long as I have recovered from the bug that's laid me right out since last w/end.

Meanwhile I'm going back to bed with some hot lemon to be jealous of my US simming friends who'll be too busy playing to post :(

 

I just got mine today, Riverblossom Hills is a nice neighborhood with interesting families, I beleive there are six of them.
The weather system is very spiffy and well done.
I will post when I get some pictures.

Ugh, Im so jealous!! Ive been literally counting the days till its released and now waiting till it gets here Ive already built houses which have ponds and stuff, to see how the fishing works, which explains my extra excitement to get it

Hopefully I wont get bored of it as quickly as pets And thank you Jazz! Can't wait to see screenies! I bet the rain looks awesome. Im most excited to see if when it snows, there will be snow on all my furniture outside my sim homes

 

Here are a coupla pictures of a house I revised that came with Riverblossom Hills, I added the Pool area and the greenhouse

Theres two things I caught while fishing, Largemouth Bass, Boot.

 

Wow! How did you get to put the boot and the fish on the wall? My sim caught a big fish last night, and I think he already ate it Sadly because it would make a good wall hanging like yours

 

Just move it around towards the wall and it will appear as a hanging as that.

Heres another one of the great snowfall I got,

 

I dont have much luck with snow, I was on the 3rd day of winter with no snow, and when it did snow, my sims were sleeping. So when they woke up, I was excited wanting them to build snowmen, only to have them walk out to the front lawn, and boom, the snow melts It happened to me a couple of times now lol

 

Last night (I'm up early, it's before 4am here) I was testing out some features. In mid winter I had poor Mortimer Goth in his speedos standing by the mailbox. He was there ages but didn't freeze, so I had his wife Lilith (nee Pleasant), nip out and do some weather engineering. Cue blizzard. 12 hours later Morty finally keeled over all blue and immobilised, needing a quick thaw from a hair dryer. 12 hours! Is his blood 100% proof? Have to test on more sims I suppose The snow was fun though ... had to turn it off after 24 hours, though ... it didn't seem inclined to stop on its own .... I guess sim snow is like real snow: it only comes when you're no ready for it.

 

Well, all my sims get cold really soon when they are out in the snow. Especially the child. At first I didnt know bout the termometer thing, and I had my sim kid build a snowman together with her dad, when suddenly a box popped up saying Im a bad parent because she is freezing and the social worker would drop by if I dont do anything bout it.

Before I could get her in the house, she froze, and the social worker came. And her dad (whom hasnt noticed her condition and was still building the snowman ) noticed the social worker, and THEN only freaked out to see his daughter as an icicle, thawed her out using the hair dryer.

But here comes the weird part, she supposedly got taken away by the social worker (I can no longer control her and the social worker left), but she was still in my house living and doing normal things, just that I cant control her. Is this a bug or is this how its supposed to be?

 

Um that sounds like a bug ... you could try boolprop testingcheatsenabled true and shift click the child and choose Make Selectable. With a bit of luck she'll be OK ... check her memories/family tree ... if she's lost them all then she's been repoed On the other hand she might just want to leave and can't ... try shift click force error and choose delete to get her off the plot

 

Maybe the social worker sped off and left her there, I need to get a social worker, FOR the social worker

I cant believe I hafta delete my child :sob: but I guess thats the better option because I saved the game that way

And has anyone had incidents whereby you have a fireplace and its lit, and the penguin comes into your house and starts dancing or doing funny actions in front of the fireplace? I keep having it, and the penguin self invites in lol

I love that little penguin. The only thing missing is a Pingu style trumpeting beak ... too cute ... and his little flappy feet make a sweet noise on the floorboards (I'm a total sucker for "cute" )

 

Sims get hot much easier than cold. My simself was working out on the treadmill, and I wasn't paying attention to her personal thermometer. Suddenly the treadmill burst into flames, and her with it. The grim reaper was approaching, the customers were screaming and complaining, the cat was yowling, the zombies were moaning...it was chaos. My robot servo ended up having to plead for her life because the zombies both hate her too much.

 

LOL, 123. So, did the robot save your simself from the reaper?

 

I agree with sims being hot easily. My sim recently harvested tons of crops (tomatoes, apples and oranges) and I made her make some juice to drink. After she drank 1 glass of apple juice, she became heated up

Is juice supposed to heat sims up? I cooled her down by letting her eat ice cream dessert
