Phone woes! Can anyone tell me why the phone never works once I have downloaded new sims and lots from the sims2 website? My sims pick it up and just stand there with it pressed to their ear doing nothing! Any info or cures would be appreciated.
Sims you download know other sims who no longer exist after you install them in your neighborhood. You're probably trying to get them to ring a phantom.
I had this problem after installing University, and found it was because I was using JMP's phonehack but didn't have the most recent (University-compatible) version.
