How Do I Smart Milk

How do you use smart milk? Everytime I click on it all I get is a "No actions available" message. Is there some secret to it?

 

Smart milk is for toddlers.

 

I have a toddler in another household and I can't use it there either.

 

The smart milk only has 5 uses ... have you used them all? Maybe time to get a new one?

 

I haven't been able to use it at all. Not even one bottle. It keeps telling me there are no actions available when I click on it.

 

This gets curioser. Are you sure you are having an adult or a teen selected as the active sim to go make the smart milk? Also is the gadget on an accessible counter? (not in a corner ) Apart from stuff like that I am well confused. Any chance you can post a screenshot of an adult holding jnr next to the smart milk ... maybe we'll be able to see something wrong ...

Sudden thought ... after looking at the above ... you don't have the toddler sat in the high chair, do you?

 

No, he's not in the high chair. Does the adult have to be holding him for it to work? Can they make smart milk while holding the toddler? That never occured to me. When you get a regular bottle you can just go to the fridge, get it and take it to the kid. That's what I've been trying to do with the smart milk also.

 

Darn about the high chair ... thought I'd cracked the problem. The smart milk can be a bit problematic in that the kid has to be awake and in the same room ... though my sims usually go and pick the kid up and take it to the milk machine ... soo the last they're doing before they make it is standing by the gadget holding youngster.

If you still can't use the wretched things I'd be wondering about a hack. Try taking your downloads folder out of My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/ ... just drag it out and drop it on the desktop that will stop your downloaded files being avalaible during the game (you would have to restart the game). It won't cure a problem caused by a hacked game file though. You would have to reinstall the game if that is the case.

If you decide to reinstall ... study the advice on saving your game files in the games "read me" (Start >> All Programs >> EA Games >> The Sims 2/The Sims 2 University)

 

I got it to work. Apparently you have to pick up the toddler and take him over there to make the smart milk. Thank you Mirelly.
