Order The Sims 2: Open For Business!!

    Hi there

This is a few links for places where you can get Open For Business while at the same time, support WorldSims :). We get a small percentage of each transaction so please do use one of the links below :)

Also, remember that if you Pre-Order, you'll get an exclusive Sims Mascot outfit for your Sims :)

    Thanks!

I got the email with my download code for the mascot suit! I wonder when they're going to ship the game?

LOL Josh ... maybe I'll go check out the shelves at my local Sprawlmart on Fursday ... could've sworn I'd read 3/3 somewhere or other ...

My game shipped out and should arrive tomorrow!

Of course my leasing office, where they deliver packages when I'm not home, closes before I get home from work. So I won't be able to get my game until Friday, but I have the entire afternoon off to play!

Just as well really cos tomorrow it'll be snowing ... not much, but this area -- being more hilly than a Sim City designed by a player whose finger kept getting stuck on the god-mode mountain tools -- is apt to grind to total gridlock at the first hint of frozen precipitation so any prospective expedition to a store tomorrow might not end till Friday anyway :p

Well, I pre-ordered mine through GameStop up above and it just showed up at the front door today.

But I don't want to install it yet. I'm too caught up in my Errol/Harcourt adventures and have a big mess of stuff downloaded because of them. I'm going to have to do a major clean up of my downloads folder before installing another EP. My harddrive probably needs major cleaning, too. :(

I'll probably hold off for a week or so and see how the rest of you brave souls fare.

As for future EPs, I don't see any advertisement for something like that. There's an advertisement for Stuff, which is called, in fact, The Sims 2 Stuff. Coming in April and looks like something similar to the Holiday Pack: more than 60 new items of clothes and furniture.

Just picked mine up, haven't installed it yet, either. Don't know if I'll have much of a chance to play tonight.

I played it, it works fine ... word of warning, Bluewater Village comes with premade characters, kind of like a mini Pleasantview, but there are a lot of businesses you can buy yourself.

You need a lot of $$$ to buy a premade business. If you don't like to cheat you have to start really small.

I had my "cheat" character Beverly start a clothing store/beauty salon, and I got to make over Sandy Bruty! Yeah! Don't know if she's going to wear the outfit I picked for her, but I did give her a nicer haircut.

It's fun, and challenging! I can see how Beverly could quickly become all work no play girl, but I'm also trying to marry her off to David Benson. A girl needs a man in her life. My luck, they'll have no sparks ... they have yet to go on a date.

    Hey, she's been busy!

I'm glad to hear that the sims have to start at the bottom in their businesses. It gives more of a challenge for those of us who like to play that way. For everyone else, there's motherlode! ;)

I do have a couple of filthy rich families who don't know what to do with all their money. They can buy the established businesses and then I'll have a good mix in my hood.

Guess what I'll be doing all weekend?
