    Safe to assume, though, that it's not a universal app, right?

    *sighs...* Looks like I'll be waiting a few months before I can put it into the MacBook Pro. Oh well... just gotta use the PC a little longer. :rolleyes:

    I just got it! It's pretty sweet. Cars rock, and seeing all the neighborhood houses in house view is awesome. There are glitches. After doing some work in Build Mode you can't click on certain things. I couldn't put in a drive way after doing other work in Build mode. I had to restart the game. Otherwise it's a great game.

    Yeah sure,
    Power Mac G5 dual 2.7 processors, 2 GB RAM. NVIDIA 6800 256 MB VRAM.
    I had 13 Sims on 1 lot last night it ran fine. I wonder how many I can do before my game crashes ;)

    LOL! Lucky :-P I'm waiting to see what the specs are for Intel. I went out and bought the MacBook Pro a little while back, and although the patch is out I still don't know what minimum specs are :p

    It will run slow until The Sims 2 and all its expansion paks are universal binaries.

    @JohnEZ
    Do you have The Sims installed on your MacBook?

    And when Will that be? Will I have to wait and get te universal versions? This isnt fair. Could I get the versions that are out now and then upgrade them to universal (without paying anything)

    One thought may be to use Boot Camp to load up Windows XP and from there play Sims 2. It should be powerful enough to play :)

    I don't believe that the expansion pack patches are out yet - but they are supposed to be within the next few weeks...so keep an eye on the Aspyr website and have patience.

    I, meanwhile, will humbly go along with my old PowerBook G4, until they come out with a new 12 or 13 inch MackBook Pro!:cry:

    Actually I have neither TS nor TS2 on my MacBook at the moment. I know that Aspyr issued a patch for TS2 for universal support a few days ago, but I'm waiting until patches for all the expansions are issued before re-purchasing the Sims 2 suite again.

    OT: The MBP received its first scratch today. Small, and nobody but me will notice, but I know it's there. It makes me angry. :mad:
