 Don't you love April Fool's Day? Of course, there's only 2 hours of it left here, so it's way past the 12pm cut off time.

I was thinking of pulling an April's fool prank by announcing worldsims had become a paysite...but yet :)

I loved MTS2's April Fools Joke, thought it was very well made and I bet it took them a long time to set up. What I couldn't understand was how many took it so seriously!!

The most elaborate April Fools jokes are not always the most likely to dupe, but some media are better equipped for it than others. MTS2 is one such resource, in my opinion. An extremely high proportion of people visit for a specific purpose: to find specific information or to find a download. In such a mentally open condition they are extremely easy to fool. Anyone seen a street conjuror take a man's wallet and walk off with it just asking the man to "give me your wallet"?

The last time April 1st occurred on a Saturday I was just starting out on a 200 mile drive at dawn. It was, therefore certain that I would tune my radio to BBC Radio 4 and catch som nostalgia. It was a programme that focussed on mainly on rural issues and life and industry of the countryside it flits from one part of the country to another and occasionally made trips across the waters to some unlikely places. I was therefore led meekly to the slaughter by a well-scripted visit to a French village that was strongly anglophilic ... I only began to smell a rat after 15 minutes when I heard a man with a gallic accent explaing how he much preferred Kraft Cheese Slices between slices of Mother's Pride to a baguette and something all runnee and stinkee ... I remember laughing at my guilelessness all the way from Milton Keynes to Rugby ...
