How Do I delete in Build Mode

ATM, I have trouble finding the delete function in Build Mode. I have a small house, but the foundation is twice as big as the house itself, plus a lot of useless walls. How do I get rid of them? Thanks!

 

If you want to delete foundation, you click on the foundation tool and hold Ctrl, and click on the parts of the foundation you want to delete. If you want to delete a wall, you click on the wall tool and hold Ctrl, and click on the parts of the wall you want to delete. Etc etc...

 

and any windows, flowers, etc. you just grab and hit the delete buttons.
