That's so sad!!! My kitty's 7 months old and I'd hate to have anything happen to her. Deepest sympathies.

We had a kitten about 5 years ago who was about that age when she died. My mum accidently reversed over her with a car. Very sad. She was still alive but very badly injured. We had to get her put down. Very sad. Now I'm nearly crying !

Sorry to hear that, MetalHead. My cat died last year but he was very old. Kittens are much more fun to have around and it's very sad if they die.

Awwww. I'm so sorry to hear that. It sucks when pets die. My mom just told me yesterday that when we move this summer, we'll probably put our cat down. She has kidney failure and refuses to use the litter box. She finds the only carpet in the house (the stairs) to use instead. Since the house we're moving in to has mostly carpet she says she can't deal with cat pee all over. :( So sad.

Ah that's so sad. We get attached to our pets so quickly don't we? I hope you aren't too put off the idea of kitty-kompany and that you're luckier with the next one, Metal.

My own cat (Mirelly) is black and white and she's 10 now; she is very sleek and soft and her tickly whiskers wake me up if I try to sleep-in.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I have three of my own, all under the age of 3, and I can't even imagine what it would be like if I lost one of them. I'm sorry for your loss, it can be just as devestating to loose a pet as any other family member because they become our family.

Poor little kitty. Sometimes those little lives are so fragile.

    Sorry for your loss, Metal.

I know how you feel. My turtle died when it was only a few weeks old, a few years ago. My condolences. :(

Awww thats so sad...:( Deepest condolences to you and Metal's family. I'm not sure if that's what you're supposed to say but it sounds nice. I share with you the agony of losing a pet. I always feel really uneasy about getting new pets, it feels like I'm sentencing them to a hard life or something like that.

But whatever you do don't feel guilty. We've lost 7 birds, 20 chooks, 7 dogs, 21 rabbits, two lizards, three baby birds, a drunken old Lorrikeet, a few tadpoles, 4 roosters, 4 guinea pigs, and some goldfish. I know, I sound horrible, but its a tough life for pets where we live. About three of those 2 dogs were taken by large carnivorous prehistoric reptiles known as crocodiles :( Most of these animals died of old age BTW so don't call the RSPCA or whatever you have over there).

I hope you feel better soon Metalhead :)

AlisonSBurke, with that much animals, i'm amazed that none of you cats died, assuming that you have had some before.

Anyway, we have a cat at home and I would hate to think of anything bad happening to her.
