Ice Breaker Info after a long break. I know that I posted an Ice Breaker info thread about this time last year but I kinda went AWOL again until recently lol. So as I am now going to spend more time at Worldsims, I thought I would say a little bit more about me. I am enjoying getting to know more about the regular posters here and it's a great place to hang out. 1. Preferred Nickname/Name - Hugz 2. Favorite Book - Clutter's Last Stand, Don Aslett 3. Favorite Movie - I like comedies and romantic movies mostly 4. Favorite Actor/Actress - Mark Ruffalo/ Josh Holloway *drools* 5. Favorite Game - at the moment, Maplestory Overall fave, Sims 2 OFB 6. Favorite TV/Movie - LOST 7. Favorite Colour - blue/lilac/white 8. Favorite Sport - not really a sports fan 9. Favorite Dessert - cheesecake 10. Something interesting about yourself - I was a teacher and have been 'career-breaking' for almost 2 years. I am to start working in a school again soon and can't wait to be up to my neck in finger paints, sand, water and glue etc. I first met Josh in the Maxis Simchat in 2002 and have been a simmer from the very beginning. I also met my fiance in that chat, and we are now living together and plan to marry and maybe start a family. Last summer we spent a month in the USA meeting a simchat friend and watching her graduate from high school. At the same time we met SMFran and her hubby. We have also met Macbraveheart from the Maxis site, twice, and plan on meeting some more simmers in the UK this summer. It's amazing how The Sims has brought together so many people lol! Hehehe, I now return you to your regularly scheduled programme.
Thanks Lynet. It's always nice to meet fellow simmers! When the Maxis chatroom closed, all the chatters went in different directions and it's been hard to keep up with visiting several sites on a regular basis. Though I haven't been to Worldsims regularly, I have kept in touch with Josh on IMs Now I'm hoping to be able to join in more productively on here lol.
Hi, Hugz. Such a cute name. You should get together with fellow Mancunian, BabeWithBrains Oh yeah .... Yeah, a High School teacher's life can be soooo stressful ...?
Hehehe! Give me a class of 4 and 5 year olds anyday lol. I think that high schoolers would eat me alive Heh, I'm not really a Mancunian, but it's not that far away - about 45 mins to an hour. I'm somewhere between Birmingham and Manchester Good base really for exploring most areas.
LOL a lot Hmm ... lemme see ... 45 minutes would make you posh and Congleton based ... an hour would make you a Potter ... LMAO .... I have nothing against Stoke on Trent. I quite like it ... but I like the fast A50 escape route even better
Well, you're VERY close Actually, the A50 is a nightmare A500 is even worse with the redevelopment! Technically my postal address is Stoke on Trent, but I am right on the border of Cheshire. I live in a beautiful, quiet town though so it's all good SOT would be a whole lot better if they got rid of the Mayor. Talk about stupid decisions and waste of taxpayers' money.... Ok, this is what happened 2 years ago: It snowed a couple of inches, as forecast, and the whole city ground to a halt. Why? The Mayor ordered a public inquiry, costing thousands of pounds. The findings? the gritters used 'the wrong type of grit'. LOL!!!!! Only 3 weeks ago, the road next to me had the markings removed and new markings put there. This week, the road was completely resurfaced. Waste of money!
