    And they do windows, too!

I was playing with Viola Waring in the House of Fallen Trees, having sent her to the tiny attic room to look at the urn again for some picture taking, and while I was distracted trying to get camera angles sorted out Viola started to wash the window. All on her own. I've never seen this before and I can't bring up any option to wash windows, but that's definitely what she was doing.

Another oh by the way: Given a choice between watching a fight and going to a fire, sims will choose fire. I had elaborate battle scenes set up all over my castle and suddenly they all stopped fighting and ran toward a small fenced area next to the house. They all crowded in there and about 8 of them ended up dying before I figured out that Ironsides wasn't going to burn and could use the extinguisher.

Then the grim reaper showed up and called down the light again and again for all the dead. Meanwhile, he wasn't moving as fast as Ironsides, who was sweeping up all the piles of ash. I'm afraid I was laughing too hard to take pictures of the Grim Reaper following behind Ironsides, one with the dustpan, the other with the heavenly light. And of course, I didn't save the game since key members of the family had died in the fire.

LOL that fire-fight looks pretty darn funny ... it really is hilarious the totally dopey way sims react to fire. Maybe at some point in the future sims will get a few more personality traits including one for nervousness/bravery ... only nervy sims would panic, brave ones would dive in and try to put fires out. Tho knowing my luck I'd end up with a neighborhood without any old bold sims just old ones and bold ones ...

I recently had a sim start washing windows, too. What was funny was that it was at the adobe mission and the windows I used are supposed to not have glass in them.

So it kind of cracked me up that Hunter decided to wash them since she was, in my mind, washing air.

Doing a nice job of it, too.

    LOL, Saved By Witches.

Lynet, you are referring to TS2, aren't you? If so, then where did you get the swords? Do they come with an EP or are they downloadable or what? Are they like the teddy bear, where you can carry them around?

I trust it's OK to answer your question here, Alison. I downloaded the swords from http://www.rosesims2.net/. They're grouped under Magic . Yes, they carry them around, but as far as the sims are concerned the swords don't exist, so during most activites, even walking, they slice themselves all over the place. I find humor in that. Some might not.

Listen close now: I did not pay for these downloads. You may have encountered donation sites before and RoseSims2 has some stuff where you have to pay for it, but I ignore those. I'm too often disappointed with downloads in general (any site) and I haven't been happy with the (free) hair downloads from RoseSims (gaps in the meshes.) I haven't tested any of her clothes.

But to be kind, all of her swords and other objects that sims can carry, and that I've downloaded, look OK in the game and have not done any damage.

Have you been reading Ironsides? Swords all over the place. ;)

Thankyou Lynet, I've been telling myself to read Ironsides for ages, but perhaps I should read the previous stories... Everyone says it's great, so I definately will read it. Just need some time to read the previous story/ies. But I will read it!
