Disappearing Family I was playing and the phone rang so I switched to Buy mode to pause, and when I came back, the family was gone (except for the ghost). I had no characters and no access to Live mode. So I had to exit without saving. Any reason for this? Or is it just that this family doesn't like me? I tend to use Buy mode for pausing; maybe I shouldn't. I lost a lot of redecorating.
Weird. I have no idea why that would happen. I just press P on my keyboard to pause, usually. Did the family come back when you re-entered the lot?
yeah, everything was the same when I exited without saving. I just lost a day and night of play and a lot of redecoration. I've done this way of pausing for many simyears without a problem. the game was just frozen in 'buy' with a ghost hanging out and no people or icons. all better now but annoying.
