Whats with this ERROR: Reinsert Disc? Ok, ill just start out saying iv been playing the sims since Sims 1 Deluxe Pack. And I have all of the SIms2 but glalmour life installed on my laptop. I pretty much had no problems and then all of the sudden... WHAM! My computer drive revs up and stops, then after a minute of looking that that boring SIMS 2 OPEN FOR BUSINESS loading screen, I get two different messages, i guess depending on my laptops overall mood 1. "Error: Please ensure the Sims 2 OFB disc is in the drive and click retry" 2. "Error: Please re-insert Sims 2 OFB and retry. Now, just to clear it up im using a toshiba LAPTOP (not computer so dont give me stuff to do on a computer) that i got last christmas, meaning this laper isnt even a year old yet. Oh and another thing, when I go to 'My Computer' to check out my driver, it sometimes disapeers so i have to go through a huge process to get it to reappear and it still doesnt work. It can read music, dvds, and other game discs, but all of the sudden (and iv had sims 2 installed on this since iv gotten it) it doesnt want to play my discs. Iv already reinstalled and crap, and my dad and i even talked to a toshiba employee (and he said to reinstall it, what a liar!) anyone else having the same problem? and i highly doubt my driver needs to be replaced being its not even a year old, so i want to get everyones information before i go pay for something i dont need thanks! _mskellyanne
Laptop problem I believe that's a laptop disk drive problem. I've had the same problem when trying to play any type of DVD in my laptop. It's a characteristic that they all seem to share after a time.
