The game freezes my PC all the time Hi While playing Sims 2 it sometimes freezes (just stops and nothing happens) and with that my PC. I can't even use that Task Manager or anything. The only button on the PC that works is the restart button, not even the turn on/off button doesn't work. Things I've noticed about it: 1) Everytime it crashes I am haveing my screen on my sim and there's a blue blur above sim (looks like somekind of an icon is starting to appear). Since the monitor with the rest of the PC is freezed I have had all the time I need to take a pic on that with a digital camera and here it is: http://aycu05.webshots.com/image/5524/2002001931122179714_rs.jpg 2) Another thing is that the sound goes on for a few seconds after everyting ealse has freezed. But only if there is a longer sound file left to be played by the Sims 2. And if that's over then there's anything ealse to do than to reboot the PC manually. 3) I reinstalled (also got rid of the saved games and the entire EA GAMES folder at /Program Files) the game but that didn't help My computer: Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHz 521 MB of RAM Video card ATI Radeon 9100 Series (128MB) Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2 Usually if there is a problem with a game everybody suggest to update the driver. But on ATI site there's no driver update for this old graphics card. I have somekind of a driver install that was with the card itself. I Used to play Sims 2 with no problems about a year ago and then I got bored of it so I uninstalled it. Since that I have formatted my PC a couple of times so the programs on it are quite different from what they were. And now when I tought I'd play it agaen I have this. It's possible to play like this too but this way I have to save every 5 min and in about every 15 min it freezes so I am gonna have to reboot my PC and start the game agen. But you know how long the Sims series take to start plus the time required to reboot. Well.... CAN ANYBODY HELP?!

I now downloaded and updated the game. So I tried to play it agaen but the problem accoured agaen and in the same situation (the blue blur or something being greated above the sim)
i have a Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz Memory: 1022MB RAM Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate NVIDIA GeForce 6200 Display Memory: 761 MB Some times the sims2 has bugs in it maybe that is wat lets the game freez and when u use cheats that makes the game slower.
