Topic Expansion Discussions Hey Everyone: I'm just throwing out ideas for potential discussions/forums to add to our community here as we're going to grow it in a few months. Some of the themes I'm throwing out to see if there's any potential interest. Note these themes have to relate to media, whether it be tv shows, movies, and/or computer games/hardware. Code Lyoko Yu-Gi-Oh G/X Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis Flight Simulator X Maplestory Technology Harry Potter - definitely probably not gonna go chase it since the series is ending. Other ideas welcomed. Please note no themes on sex, porn, drugs, and just completely random off topics items that doesn't relate to entertainment.
YEAH!! Maplestory DEFINITELY has my vote. We both know a LOT about Maplestory and I know I could ramble on about it forever lol. It would be good not only for our other buddies in the game to have somewhere to talk about it, but also for any other players/newbies to it to receive good advice or help. I already have seen some players in-game who also are simmers, so it could work that they stay in the forum to read the Sims boards too.
Flight Simulator X would be good but I doubt a huge fanbase could be made out of it, so my vote goes to maplestory, even though I hate it so much.
No Flamey, say after me..... Maplestory is awesome! Maplestory is addictive! Maplestory is omgz lyk da bestest eva zomg!!!!111one1eleven!! omg! Seriously, it's A WONDERUL GAME. There are so many aspects to the game that you would never get bored.
Gonna have to go with Maplestory. Since I am sorta kinda somewhat addicted myself and well most of the other selections in the poll, well I don't know what they are~ Maplestory is an interesting game and I think it would be interesting to be able to discuss whatever about the game without having a word limit or well that whole link the wrong words together and you are cursing when you aren't! Nope, MS has my vote
/me bops you on the head a zillion times then feeds you to Crimson Balrogs, then throws you back into Step 4 of the jump quest then puts you on the boat and locks the cabin doors so you can't hide then watches the Crimson Balrogs kill ya once more Heh, I DID message an admin to edit the post for me as I missed it first time around then it was too late to edit my typo.
Hehehe, you know me too well. Nah, I will save that for the new Maplestory board, if it is ever created. Slimsim, Maplestory is a MMORPG - massively multiplayer online role playing game. You have characters and they can choose one of 4 job classes - Warrior, Bowman, Magician or Thief. Each job class has its own clothing/armour, weapons, skills and attributes. You fight monsters, buy/sell items, chat with other players through the ingame chat modes, apply skill points each level you gain (from experience points which you gain from monsters or quests), undertake various quests unlocked at different levels, do party quests (either 4 or 6 players at once, each having a role in the puzzles and tasks) and a whole lot more. The graphics are beautiful, the music is awesome (really - I have the songs on my playlist) and it's a game where you never get bored. If you decide to try it out, let me know and I can help you through the first stages. I recommend hidden-street.net as it's practically like an online manual. The guides there also help you to get the starting stats you need on the dice roll when creating your character as each job class requires different stats.
the thing that makes me leary about joining is they ask for your s.s.# when signing up... won't do it, ever.
yeah... the site I went to when I first heard about the game wanted a S.S. number to register. Now it may be they just wanted me to make up some kind of id #, but I couldn't be sure. so I didn't.
NX ID, yes, but I looked over at www.mapleglobal.com and I don't see any instances of it requesting a ssn.
