sims 2 or sims 2ets - help please hiiiii... i need to know some stuff about sims 2 pets... if i was to get it, it would be for game cube... i wanted to know if its the exact same thing as sims 2... the way the people live and stuff, the way you make the people... but with the whole pet thing added... or is it a completely different game... i dont know if you guys get what im saying lol... because i dont know if i should get sims 2 or sims 2 pets... (sims 2 would be for xbox.. i hate thats theres not sims 2 pets for xbox... i dont like playing game cube...) i really dont know... i have sims 2 for the computer.. i got it last christmas and i havnet played it once because i cant... the computer that could play it crashed on boxing day (i was nice and let my brother play it first on christmas...) apparantly sims 2 on computer is really different than on consoles sooooo please help me out.. im sorry this was long...
u have to get the sims to first, because the sims2 pets is an expansion pack which allows u to expand on the original game. u have to get the regular sims2 to enable the sims2 pets to work on your computer.
Gamecube is not the same game. The game for consoles is an abbreviated version of the one you can play on the computer. I don't know much else about it, as I play on the PC. I'd try to get that crashed computer up and running if I were you. And please, use full stops in your next post. This one was very hard to read.
klscott63: i already knew that i needed the sims 2 to play sims 2 for computer to play sims 2 pets for computer... i wanted to know what you guys thought i should get... sims 2 pets for game cube or just the sims 2 for xbox but thanks anyways surprised_by_witches: ok thanks, the crashed computer is long gone... the hardrive had bad sectors...and just the whole computer turned to crap after that... so we put the hardrive in this other computer cuz it was still sort of alright except for the bad sectors... the video card for that one wasnt good... so sims 2 wouldnt play... then anyways we got a "new" computer... from a school... and well it still wont play it lol. i have no idea what full stops are lol... im sorry it was hard to read... ok so ill probly be getting sims 2 for xbox..... its cheaper anyways... what with the whole sims 2 pets thing coming out...

I have to say, the PC version is definitely the best! for a start, in my opinion the graphics are better and the general game too. But computer requirements is the annoying thing! That is annoying too how you have to have the first to install the rest but i guess it makes sense.
