Affording properties I have noticed many properties that are for sale but are very expensive. As you can type the cheat in the game to make your house expensive by buying expensive stuff...does anybody know how i can buy an expensive home from the beginning an already made one? As theyre for sale, no ones in them but i cannot afford. Is there some sort of cheat you can use to get more money when moving in a lot?
You can use the "Family Funds" cheat. In the neighborhood menu screen, do the ctrl+shift+c to bring up the entry line. Type familyfunds "Simslastname" $amount of money (i.e. familyfunds goth $300000). This works for sims in your sim bin. If it doesn't work, you may either need a specific expansion, not sure if it was there from the beginning or I typed it wrong. It's been a while since I've used it. Just do a search around here for family funds and it should show up.
The cheat is: familyfunds Jones +10000 Space after familyfunds and space after Jones Substitute your sim family name for Jones Substitute a different dollar amount for what you need. No decimals, no dollar signs, no commas.
After I got to thinking about it I think it's without the dollar sign or the plus sign. Just the number. Try it with and then without.
I know, and no matter how many times I've already used/typed it, when I'm not playing the game, I can't think of exactly how it goes.
When your actually in the house? Oh right, thanks for that too, i didnt know that either LOL. hmm i cant find it..i ont really have a family to move into a newhome yet though. Unless i did that moved them into a bigger home i would have to set a new family and use the cheat fdor abigger home.
