sims2 christmas expansion pack I can't get this to play for my kids. They have sims 2 which plays no problem, I have loaded the Christmas expansion pack but cant see how to play it. does it play from the expansion disc, or sims 2 itself? when i try to play from expansion disc it asks for "correct disc", when I try to play from sims 2 it isnt obvious how to play the christmas game thanks in advance
The christmas pack just adds "stuff" into the game. So if they want their house to be decorated in the holiday spirit you need to go to buy mode to buy the items to place in the house. Also, if you have the christmas tree out and bake santa cookies in the evening (9pm is ideal) then Santa will show up later. Just make sure you save at least one cookie for Santa, then he'll leave a nice gift for your sims.
You can't play the Holiday stuff pack with the Holiday CD. You need to play it from the most recently installed EP CD (if you have more than the TS2 base game), or from the TS2 base game CD (or DVD if you have that version) and no EPs. The stuff pack isn't a "game" by itself. It's a collection of extra things which can be used while playing the game.
