C-Panel or Z-Panel For Free Accounts

    http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/zpanel/ZPanel-v2.zip?download
    thats a link to Z-Panel

    to the webmasters of Simgames.net
could you please upload either Z-Panel or C-Panel, so that simgames.net members could use them for there site, this is only a suggestion but if you could add c-panel that would be awsome and much appreciated by all.

C-Panel, if you're talking about what you appear to be, is expensive, and H-Sphere does those things, so we're not paying for another license.

Z-Panel looks like it will require users to create another login, which does not make me happy, but I will look into it anyway. Half the features are duplicated in H-Sphere as well, so I will want to turn most of them off.

I reviewed Z-panel as I was looking into installing it. Most of the features conflict with H-Sphere's features and wouldn't be usable. The only thing it does is install a few scripts that you can't install via the control panel, and for all the extra work it will be to set up and maintain, I don't see any reason to waste the time.

my site is hosted by tycoongaming.com which is hosted by your site, and they paid for there domain, And we do not have access to the control panel, and it would be great if you could add z-panel to enable 1 click installs and some other very usefull features to add to sites etc.

All the features besides the script installer won't work properly outside the control panel. You won't be able to use any of them.

We already do have PHPMyAdmin and a file manager that anyone can use, even if they don't have a control panel, and databases and disk quotas can only be dealt with properly from within the control panel.

Also, the sites are split between two different web servers which would mean that the zpanel would only work for sites on one server, or else we'd have to install it twice, and you'd have to know which is which.

Thus, if you are a subhosted account, you should ask the person that's providing you with hosting to set up some type of control panel for you. I don't really consider it SimGames.net's responsibility to provide feature support to sites that are hosted by our members.

like i said before, and i know you didnt like the idea cuz some people might take advantage of it, but to those who could request it you might be able to make them a "reseller account". ive never played with creating resellers in hsphere admin, but does it allow you to limit the number of clients they can have? If it did, and somehow prevent people from making an absurd or strange plan system, you could then effectivly do this, which would stop people from asking, but it would put a little bit more work on your part.

No. I've been through this before. No resellers or control panels for subhosted accounts. I am trying to draw this network away from subhosting, not promote it.
