going out two questions again 1.when a teen sims has an aspiration to go out how do you get them to actually go out because my teen got permission and i chose the sim to go out with and then they came to the house but how do they go somewhere ? 2.do you have to download a hack to be able to download new maternity wear?
1. When a sim teen has a want to go out or sneak out, they need to ask a parent for permission (go out) or not (sneak out). After a certain time (I think it's 9 or 10 pm) there will be an option on the phone. Depending on whether they asked permission or not, the option will be to go out or sneak out. When you choose that option, they will then get to choose who they want to go with. A hour or two later (or at a certain time, I can't remember because it's been so long since my sims snuck out), the friend shows up in a car and the 2 head out for the night and come back a few hours later, really tired, but full up on social and fun. 2. To wear different maternity clothes (i.e. regular everyday clothes when pregnant) you do need to download a hack. There's one that I use here: http://www.insimenator.net/showthread.php?t=7238 If you have Seasons, the one for that EP is here: http://www.insimenator.net/showthread.php?t=38732 But if you're talking about changing the maternity wear the sims already have, then you don't have to download a hack. On ModtheSims2, they have some maternity wear default replacements that look better than the Maxis ones.
oh ok thanks but on the 1st one is the same thing supposed to happen because when they 'go out' on my game the chosen sim comes to the lot and i dont know how to get them to leave the house.
If you choose the correct option, the other teen will come by in a car. Your teen sim with get the "Go Out" or "Sneak Out" action in their queue and join the other teen in the car. The car will then leave the lot. Your sim will not be controllable. He/She will be off the lot as if they were at school or work or something. You do not "Call Sim...Invite Over" to fulfill the Go Out or Sneak Out want.
Ahhh...yes. If you simply invite them over it doesn't count. Gotta wait for the 'go out' option to show up on the phone. Cass.
I had the same problem. I would choose "Go Out", they'd come over, but with no car and they wouldn't go anywhere. But the Sims 2 website has a patch for it, fixes that and alot of other things and it works now!
