Am I wrong? Or is the voting for the Short Story competition a little skimpy? I see maybe 12 to 14 voters. At least there are a lot of views. I don't think they're all mine.
I laugh every time I log on and see this. Is it a "literacy" competition - in which case the actual writing and reading of the stories is its own reward? Or is it a "literary" competition, in which the quality of the stories is the point? If the latter, than the title is a good joke, eh?
LOL, Jiko. I guess I assumed it was a literary competition to promote world literacy, especially considering how difficult it is to read some of the posts. (txt spk, etc.) Hard to solve somone's game problem if you can't figure out what they're saying -- bad spelling, no punctuation... And did your computer hiccup?
my computer stated in no uncertain terms that it was unable to link to worldsims and therefore had not sent a message. giving me time to edit it and send it yet again. so sorry! making the point that "literacy" is always a prerequisite to anything "literary..."
