    Um...oh dear...

I have Sims 2 for Mac, with 2 expansion pacs
I've never had this happen before, but on the options menu the save/neighborhood/quit buttons are unavailable...like, I can't even click on them

So basically, I'm stuck in Sims unable to save or quit and I don't know what to do. I recently used the moveobjects on cheat, I don't know if that screwed things up...? I just would like to use my laptop for something other than sims for the rest of my life! Help....?

Try shutting off your computer. Or can't you do that with a Mac? Reboot? I'm a PC user but surely there must be a cheat key.

In Sims for PC Ctrl + Q = Quit. Try that.

Sorry I can't help more. Sacha's the Mac user.

Did you use moveobjects true or did you say on.
If you used moveobjects true then when done you have to set it to false after.
Also there must be a reset button somewere?
I hate to say it. But thats why I dont own a mac.:)

huh...I didn't know that you can also use it as 'moveobjects true/false' I've always typed 'moveobjects on/off' and that works just fine.

Anyway; to ralli. First use "moveobjects off" since that's the form you used first. Then check to see if there is any events going on in your lot? Such as repo, a carpool coming/leaving, fire, groceries being delivered? If so, just wait it out. If not, I'm afraid you might just have to exit without saving, which me not being a mac person myself I'm not sure how to do that as I just do ctrl+alt+del and close the program. There are several mac users here though that will hopefully be able to help you.

I could be wrong, but I was sure I used True False command.
Might have been a late night.lol
any way on then off. True then false. Whichever. as long as you turn it off after use. :D

    apple-Q will quit a program.
command-option-escape in mac = control-alt-delete in pc. (ie brings up force quit menu)
