Problems withe the Sims 2 & Expanions Hi I have the sims 2 deluxe and the expanions university,pets, h&m pack and seasons, I have notcied that seasons is slow on my pc as well and I have a good pc that is up to date with 1 gig of ram and almost a 500 gig harddrive and vista, other than being slow the game runs ok but when I go to downtown to go shopping I can't buy clothes, I click on it and the icon at the top left just dissapears does anyone know anything I can do about this Melissa
I have no idea what can be causing the problem. But I think I have a solution--it won't fix your problem though, it will just let you shop. There's a hack that you can download at mod the sims 2 called the "shop at home" coat hook (download here). If you download it, you will be able to shop at home for free with the coat rack. Don't worry, it's quite safe. Read the instructions before downloading it though. Like I said, it won't fix your problem but it will let you shop--if some of the scary Downtown anti-shopping business doesn't kick in there too.
Sry to disagree, but I am running Vista and only have 1GB of RAM. My game is running smoothly although I have all EPs and lots of downloads. Or maybe I'm just lucky. :grin:
