Well, I'm going to be attempting to dye my hair green on the tips and in streaks that I'll later braid to look like vines... wish me luck because I didn't get gloves to protect my hands, and I'm going to try to use plastic shopping bags as glove replacements!! I'm all excited and nervous because I've never done this with my hair before!! :p

ak!! How do people DO this??!!! I now have green splotches all over my forehead, and green stripes on my shoulder and across my chest, and even with the plastic bags on my hands, I got green splotches all over my left hand!! And we're not even to the rinsing part yet, this is the 15 minutes "processing" time, I decided to ruin 2 hair clips and try not to get anymore on my SKIN!! :p

I wonder too how people does it. I don't even dare to try!!

Well... good luck!!! You'll need it!! The hug you can get when you're no longer "coloring off" on things.:LOL::LOL:

Well I got lucky and I was able to wash off the green all over my skin and hands and forehead when I rinsed and washed my hair!! I should have paid more attention to what "rinse thoroughly with COLD water" would mean, yeeeek cold cold cold COLD!!! But I'm now waiting for my hair to dry all the way, looks good so far, and only one stain on my nails, which I'm going to be painting later with dark green metallic nail polish anyway. :)

*snuggles in the warm blankie* thanks!! My hair is ALMOST dry now... it's long, down below my waist, so it takes a while to air dry! I'm going to have fun showing it off to my hubby when he gets home from work tonight! He's bringing home drink mixes with him, I like just mixing some of them up with Sprite instead of alcohol for a yummy drink! They have some really good frozen drink mixes that are now sold in the grocery store with the frozen juices and mixing those together with Sprite makes a KILLER punch!! :p There will be SOME alcohol at the party, but not much. We're all adults except the baby, he's about 1 and 1/2 and will be in a little dragon outfit, it should be sooooo cute!! Unless his mommy changed her mind about the costume, then I'll be surprised!! :D I'm happy my friend's landlady will be coming to the party too, she's really nice and deserves to have some fun! It's sad, but my friend and only ONE other renter, out of FOUR renters, are the only 2 paying their rent!! The other 2 owe her about $1,000 and she's barely able to cover the cost of the house payment SHE has to make, and the utility bills, with only 2 peoples rent. I figure she needs some cheering up!! I'm bringing extra cookies for her to take home to her kids. :D

Sounds like some really nice people around you Fae. Hope you had a lot of fun!! :classic: It's a shame that people doesn't pay for them I think. They could at least pay some if they're in trouble. And make up a plan for paying of the debt.
Sounds really good those nonalcoholic drinks!! *drooling* I got an idea! How about a thread were people can put down recipies and tips about all sorts of goodies?? I would really like to have them. And how to make those drinks.
Any way.. For about a year ago I had really long hair too .. It covered my butt as well!! But it was so worned out i had to cut it. First I cut off about 40 cm (16 inches). Then again about that length. It's still dowm to my shoulders. ;) And also because of my back and neck it got to heavy. Now i'm looking for s real GOOD hairdresser to help me fogure out an easy hairstyle that I will like.

Hehe.. You're not alone in ramblin along.. ;):classic:

wow... I survived party day!! *splat!* heh I'm so wiped out!! First we went to our nephew's birthday party and helped the kids with the spider pinata, kids with sticks, flying candy, screaming... trying to keep kids NOT holding the stick from running INTO the stick trying to get the candy before the kid WITH the stick stops SWINGING it!!! :p They had a bouncy castle too. Fill kids with sugar, then let them bounce.... if only we could harness the energy! My hubby and I ended up holding the 1 year old baby most of the time. :D

Second party.... ooooh my aching legs!!! I DANCED like mad!! One of the ladies who showed up had her 2 grandkids with her, little boy about 5-7, girl about 9-10. The little kid could DANCE!! He did some breakdancing too, standing on his head and spinning!! We think he could go professional by age 10 at this rate!! My hubby let the kid wear his wrestling mask. :D My costume was fun but I had to take the drapey stuff off to help cook in the kitchen, and I never got it back on. Somehow my costume ended up NOT how I planned... I started as Mother Nature but by the end of the night my friends teased me and stuffed a dollar down my shirt!! I got to keep the money though, haha! My friend with the baby had a CUTE costume, she came in pajamas with her hair in braids, and with fluffy slippers, and her baby was in a Winnie the Pooh Teddy Bear costume, so he was her stuffed bear and she was a girl going to a sleepover!! SOOOO cute!! :D

OK that's my adventures, and why I'm wiped out!!
