Gamecube - stuck as someone else I need help when I go to a diff location in the game and my main character goes to work I am put to a diff character which I do not like and when my character gets back I cant play her I bought the game used so have no basic manule all I want to do is be my character again with out restarting please if anyone can help I would be so happy.
Sims are not avatars for yourself. But even so I do not understand what your problem is. You say that: Which makes no sense, because the game's registration code is on the manual, so you would not have been able to install it without the manual unless you have used some sort of hack to get around that problem. The problems caused by hacking the game are not something we support, especially when the problems are the result of trying to get around the game's copy-protection. If anyone wishes to buy a "used" game they must ensure that they buy only from reputable traders who supply products in good condition. I would regard the definition of Good Condition as meaning the game is supplied on the original discs, in the original case, and with the original manual and relevant security codes. Any other product is bound to be sub-standard and likely to give you trouble. Sorry :(
Alrightly, since you posting in another forum that this is for gamecube and not the PC...it's important to let us know these things! It's also why Mirelly gave you flack because it's not legal if that's for the PC, it is legal to buy used console games however. We'll forgive you of that mistake. Second, I'm going to merge this into your other thread, please don't double post as it's one big forum and we'll get to it if we know the answer. Third...it's been a while since I've played (like over a year), but I think it's button Z to change characters. When I get home later tonight I'll double check for you with my manual. Can you let me know which specific Sims (pets, sims2, urbz, etc...) this is for gamecube? I think they are all the same for control but I want to double check. I do have several of the Sims2 games for gamecube.
