Troubleshooting error 1709 on EA-Land

error 1709 on EA-Land

i need help please....:(

i went to launch the EA-Land game then it comes up with login but after i login i cant enter the lot, cause it says internal error so i re-launch it again but then it does the same thing....it doesnt work, it was fine for a week since i have been playin until today it gives me errors that i cannot enter a lot at all. so i thought about repair EA-Land then i tried to repair it and it did not work but it comes up sayin:

"the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing
the installation package 'EA-Land[1].msi' in tha box below.

this is what it comes up with then i click "ok" then now it comes up sayin:

the path 'c:\documents and settings/my computer\local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\0393KOGF\EA-Land[1].msi' cannot be found. verify that you have access this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'EA-land[1].msi' in a folder from which you can install the product EA-Land.

so then i click "ok" n then i click cancel

then it said: the installation source for this product is not available. verify that the source exists and that you can access it.

i have been lookin for a folder but i cannot find it any where in a folder.
so can anyone please help me why it wont let me to enter the lot?

i love the sims onlineplease help me how to get it working again.
i'd appreciate it if any of you's do...thanks

 

You probably need to check your firewall settings to allow EA Land software to access the internet. The game cannot work without net access, and if your internet security is stopping the traffic (and it sounds like it is) you need to edumacate it :/

 

Babymarie, please don't double post. It's unnecessary and annoying. Somebody will see your one post, don't worry. Mirelly proved that.

 

It's possible that they were doing some updates to EA-Land. Check out their blog whenever you're having issues. They would also be the ones to contact when you're getting errors.

now i can get bak on sims online, it has been down for 2 days, that i got told by someone they were havin tha same problem as me. even tho iam new to sims online so i guess i know why cause they closed down for updates or cause of bugs?

but i thought there were something wrong with it lol i realised its an update or they r fixin something.

ea land wont work plz help

Hi i cant get back onto ea land tc3 i can pick my sim but after it loads up to 100% it stops responding i have re-installed it but the same thing happens can any1 plz help me?
