Sad week in the Aviation Industry

It's a pretty sad week in the aviation industry. On Monday March 31, 2008, Aloha Airlines announced that is is ceasing all operations and it filed for bankruptcy. Today, April 3, 2008, ATA announced it immediately ceased operations and that it too had filed for bankruptcy.

It's sad. People went to bed last night knowing they had jobs only to wake up this morning to discover they no longer have jobs. :(

I'm going to miss those Northwest planes. They looked the best of any commercial airliner in my opinion.
