Installation problem (nightlife) - disk 2 doesn't register Hi I'm trying to install Nightlife but the second disk when it goes in does nothing like the comp can't recognise it or something....gah.... also it says in the manual to update your firmware for the disk drive?
Try copying and pasting all of the data from both disks to a temporary folder on your harddrive and install from there.
yeh i'm trying to do that but how do i do that specifically so that the installation carries on without asking me for disk 2 ? thank you!!
I've never done this before, but doesn't it disregard the "Please insert Disc 2" error if you copy and paste the files and install from the harddrive?
Err well basically what I did was paste them into the hard drive but they're two separate files: 'Sims2EP2_1' and 'Sims2EP2_2'. do they both have to be in the same file...sorry if i'm being really obvious here...? How exactly do you do it? cheers! EDIT: hang on i might have a fil saved on my comp that has all these details, cos i did this once before many a year ago. sorry! EDIT: still didn't work. anyone got a working method? cheers i wonder if its the disk though...?
