   Whats the total number of installs we can have before the cd won't let us install anymore?

   The policy EA has is that you have an unlimited installs/uninstalls from your DVD. But you have a max of 5 activations.

   No one knows the exact same specifics that govern what counts as an activation or not. EA has not disclosed it to us so we have no idea.
   
   Ideally it's based on the hardware configuration you have.
