    spore for mac

so i recently switched over to a mac. really enjoying it but it's still somewhat foreign to me. especially when it comes to troubleshooting.
so, getting straight to the point. i pop the disc in. the spore icon appears on the desktop. trying to open up the Sporeinstaller.app leads to this message popping up. You can't open the application "Sporeinstaller.app" because it is not supported on this architecture. can anyone help me out?

Most of the mac users we encounter are running bootcamp.

Could you post up your Mac's specs?

The reason why you can't run Spore on your iBook is because Spore was written only for Intel based processors in the Macintoshs.
