Sims 1 Program Error. I can't catch a break, it seems. I had found my old SIMS 1 Game-disk and installed it. Things worked beautifully until I tried to play it. I received this pop-up error: SIMS.EXE HAS GENERATED ERRORS AND WILL BE CLOSED BY WINDOWS. YOU WILL NEED TO RESTART THE PROGRAM. I have un-and then re-installed, and there is still no positive result. I use Windows 2000. Thanks!
I've had the same too before when i had Win 2000. On XP it works better I've noticed. On the other hand it was a very long time since i played the game. No time and right now - not my own computer at hand.
