I think the sims is starting to fade...I mean looking at the chat rooms at thesims.com, they are almost a ghost town now.....use to be they got so crowded, people have a hard time reading and ending up went to other rooms to chat. Even then, it was bad. Sometimes we would have 60, 70 people online at once in a room. Now we barely even have 10 sometimes, maybe 25 at busy hours.
That is true, there are now times that I am the only one there for long stretches of time. I am in the chat about 12 hours a day, and it is not as busy now as it was just at christmas. Hopefully it will pick back up again with superstar.
I've noticed that The Sims has died off in the past few years... especially in the chat. Maybe SuperStar will breathe some new life into the games?
They should make a sequel for The Sims, with new options, and SimCity 4 style graphics. Take SimCity for example. When it was released it was popular, then it died down, the 2000 came out it was pop again, then it died down. And then 3000 came out.... then 4....
Well, sometimes that has worked but look at what redesigning did to Coke! They had to bring back the old stuff! Besides some of us oldsters haven't time to play all the simstuff now...bring out something new and I'll be even more confused!! lol
LOL Bookworm! I feel the same way as Josh. There are still a lot that could be added to the game to make it better, but the game base would have to be redone to get them to do it right. Just look at some of the things added to the ps2 game that could be done to the pc one, like the vanity table. That would be awesome to have. But the game would have to be reconfigured.
