Layouts Ummmm, yeah, about the layouts of the sims homes. I always try and build my homes to be as effective as possible, but I can never get the layout bar past 2. Are there any tips or helpful hints anyone can give me? :bunny:
This is what the sims like in a house. They want to be able to get from one place to another without making a lot of steps. I try and put a small bathroom close to the kitchen, and a large one by the bedroom(s). In the kitchen, I make a med sized one with the stove, frig, and sink in a triangle from each other. They also like to have the nicest furniture that you can afford, and paintings and things. That is what I usually do, just experiment with larger rooms, and things close to each other. Good luck.
I always like to build double door between high traffic areas (front door, etc.), and the is rating usaually pretty low when you first build the house (for me anyway), but it seems to increase the more they live there. also, the smaller the better, but not cramped. It should never take more than 30 Sim minutes to walk from one end to the other of your house. still, in between places like the food prep area, and the dining table, it should be pretty close. Hoe this helps
Can someone take a look at my house and tell me what I can do to make the layout better? it's on the sims family exchange. My user is littlemistresspixie, the family is Tonya Diaz and her cats, the album name is Cool House, and it's in lot number 68
