TheGamersHQ and Fusion Creations Well it seems that with TheGamersHQ gone, and some of the members are here, it seems everyone faded out...so just wondering what did TheGamersHQ have that WorldSims doesn't have
I'll tell people, I'm an old veteran og TGHQ. I was staff there, and I became a mod, and became known through out The Sims community (but as I can tell not here). ChrisMcgill and SystemZero were the Admins, Sageon was also a mod, and Tecnofreak was a regular member. Even Trond and Tweety were members . However Chris couldn't pay his hosting bills, and on December 27 2002, it was shut down. The reason why most of us came here is because Josh was staff there, and we knew about worldsims. TGHQ and Fusion Creations was pretty popular, but I guess no one here knows about it. What TGHQ did have and what worldsims doesn't have is hacked objects, they were cool, objects like a special chemistry set, that you could pick the potion you wanted. And The special genie lamp. It would be nice if Chris came here and posted his objects, too bad no one has heard from him scince.
It would be great to get a couple of people here who know how to make hacked objects and are willing to TEACH us how to make them too! I have tons of ideas and haven't figured out how to get INTO stuff and alter things like the sims interactions with them... sigh.
I have connections with MazeLord2000 and Tsd2d0, great object hackers, maybe I can get them to come here and teach people.
Mazelord can't do it, he said he didn't have the time, he's too busy with research and making new programs for The Sims. It's either Tsd2d0 or Trond, who's a good hacker too.
Setting up a sort of workshop day/week/area for learning to make hacked objects would be great! (And tutorials are always wonderful too!! *beg beg!* )
Not that kind of hacking hataz,we mean object hacking. To "hack", meaning, say you could raise the comfort level of a chair, or make your sims play basketball in formalwear.
Hacking in this definition is to modify code to suit our needs. For example, these forums have codehacks. I've added them in to meet the needs of our viewers.
Fusion Creations Does anyone know where I can download the Chemistry Set that was at Fusion Creations? I had it once before, but lost it and many other downloads when I had to format my hard drive because of a stupid virus. Any help would be much appreciated!
