I think they're just saying they're excited about their work on the game and look forward to seeing fan reaction, I don't think it means they WON'T wait till the set date and release it early. Good article, thanks for the link!
Thanks for the info simsamgrl! I think they are itching to release....hmm wonder if this means they are stepping up the release day to Christmas?
Sigh... it would be NICE to be able to get it for Christmas, but I kind of got the impression they want to release it in the first financial quarter of the year for business reasons and their finances and stuff. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll release something for making your sims or objects early, but I think that would be about it.

O-o Oh yeah, I was meaning to add, I just visited the sims website for the Simday event and it was the link to this same article, so you scooped them in bringing it to our attention first!! haha!
I should have learned by now not to get TOO expectant over simday... sometimes it's neat... sometimes it's kind of pathetic... sigh.

I'm not sure on the individualized closets thing, but I would absolutely LOVE it if they did have that in the game. I'm wondering if the way the individual sim's clothes work in the dressers in the Online version of the game might be how having individualized closets could work in sims 2....
I would love closets But i think that what they mean is that you can change the clothing on your sims form the selection of clothes you bought.....much like hot date, but the defaults aren't overwritten, you could still choose to wear them if you want. But I dont know, just a guess here. :bunny:
