Family can marry NPC's There will be weekends so your family can have a break from work. There will be a commercial are for food and clothes but that is all. A demo of Create-A-Sim will be released Aug-Sept or Nov-Dec so you can make your sim families ahead of time and upload them in your game

I guess the NO cars part answers our questions about whether the sims can drive in the game. Thanks for all the info! I'm glad about the possible babysitters and the weekends! I'm wondering what a Lawyer would be doing in the game... hmmm... maybe your sims can get divorced?! I'll be crossing my fingers hoping the demo for Create-A-Sim comes out soon... but I can wait till December if I have to!
there are estimate release dates, but other than that, there isn't any Official release date As for create-a-sim, its not maxis to release a demo of any The Sims product in fear people would duplicate the game and come out with it first.
You don't think the create a sim release would be about the same risk as they're already doing with the make a date and superstar programs they've already got as downloads at their site? I guess we'll have to wait and see....
