You've never heard of which bands? Or do you mean you've never heard of any of them that anyone mentioned? That's ok, I'm still learning some of the names of bands it turned out I liked listening to in the 80s but I had no idea of song names and band names at the time.

hmm sum bands i like are dashboard confessional chevelle thrice finch linkin park incubus trapt sugarcult the used something corporate simple plan... stuff like that

 

Billy Cotton, Harry James, Artie Shaw, Bennie Goodman, et al.

 

LP, Delerium, anything trance/electronic/techno. I dont pay attention to bands, i pay attention to songs. Besides, most bands only have one or two good songs per album anyway.

any good bands hmmm. Oh The Police, Green Day, UB40, Metalica, Duran Duran, Blonde, The Doors, Guns and Roses, Fleetwood Mac, and so much more.

 

My grandson said he didn't know either. It was just something Henry Hall said before his show during the war on the radio - or steam radio, as it was called by the Goons, if I remember rightly.

 

Why is that when I went dancing the singer with the band (invariably female) seemed, to me, to be about twenty five feet tall?
