I dont think any1 will believe me but yesterday i swindled a kid out of Sim City 4 for just $10!! I really didnt even do anything, i just said i wish i had that game and he told me to give him $10 for it! That was the wierdest thing that ever happened to me in like 4 months!

I hope it was really HIS game to sell! You didn't really swindle him though, if he set the price that was his choice. Sometimes people like to give stuff to someone who will really use and enjoy it instead of it laying around not getting used. I've been giving away stuff like that for a while now, even a bike, exercise bike, tv, and drafting table! :D Makes me feel good they're not sitting around and they're making someone else happy instead!

He sold it to you for only $10? Seems weird... How old was the kid, Afro? and does the game look genuine?

I got Flight Sim 2002 for $7 at a swap meet. Yes, it's a legit copy.

Weird. Normally any cheap copy of a game I've seen is pirated.

Anyways, that's a good deal for a genuine copy. Good find. ;)

Yes, his copy was legit, it has the pictures on the front and everything. He claimed that it didn't work on his computer, and that's why he sold it to me. i think it was like a Windows '95 and was too advanced for that comp.

Many instances where people (usually casual gamers) buy games for themselves or their relatives, and then find out that it's not suitable in some ways later one and want to sell it off. It's just good business sense to sell a used or unwanted game instead of letting it gather dust. Helps fund the investments for newer games too! ;)

Is that Latin? I'll look up what it means once I know for certain which language I'm trying to make it! ;)

I don't quite know - it is lawyer's latin, which, I understand, is really Norman French. It means that you cannot sell that which you do not have - if you didn't own a piece of property (real or personal) then you can't sell it - i.e. you cannot pass good title to it. The rule has been eaten into in this country - I understand that have even removed market overt. That was where there was a genuine market established 'whereof memory runneth not to the contrary'. When you bought something in maarket overt you got good title to it not matter whether the seller had any title or not.
