My Triumphant Return.... I am back...... For those of you who remember me ("huh? who the hell are you your were never here before eff off you drunkerd") hello again. I left the Sims community to be honest, I was bored stiff of The Sims, so I got hooked on RTS gaming. I tried Superstar and Makin Magic and I am not that bored anymore, I'm waiting for Sims 2. Is the community the way I left it? (in June '03) What sites have opened and/or closed scince then. (and Josh, any words from anyone from TGHQ or any plans to bring it back, I should just give up, a year ago today is the last words I read from Chris, with are chat when he said it closed) Anyway, I'll try to post more, however most of the time I'm gaming.
Whoohoo!!! Welcome back! I remember you! :bunny: :whitekitty: What is RTS gaming? I'm curious as I've just recently started expanding my gaming experience beyond sims. I heard that several of the larger fan sites have shut down but I can't remember any names as I'd never really been to them much. I know TONS of new sims 2 fan sites have popped up with everyone anxiously awaiting and preparing for that to come out! Check out the Community Updates section for some of the sims sites members here have mentioned or are working on. Have fun with your gaming and check in once in a while!
A BIG Welcome Back Simzer!!! The community has did some changing hands. WorldSims is probably one of the largest powerhouses on The Sims 2 Front and a bunch of webmasters finally got together in one spot to meet up with Maxis and the rest to preview the Sims 2. http://thesims2.ea.com/news_sims2u.php The sites that attended Sims 2 University are probably becoming one of the core sites that are driving The Sims 2 Community I've made lots of friends over at Sims 2 University (Heather from SimFreaks, Josh at SimStuff.com, SimGoddess from SecretSims, Cheetah of The Sims Zone and a few others...) I have no idea what sites have opened or closed, and Chris has probably officially left TGHQ and The Sims Community.. (and I couldn't send him a Cheque of $150.00 I owe him either...and I still have it :gulps: (Western Union wants to take $22.00 of it :-/ )
RTS: Real Time Strategy, Games like Command and Conquer and Age of Empires and Rise of Nations, etc. Is Blueprint dead to? I can't seem to get on the site. And what about TSR, has the statue been torn down yet? lol. I think I could help with Sims 2, I as recal, didn't you offer be a job at worldsims about a month before I left... (wink, wink. nudge, nudge). I could also help with Simcity 4, I really want to be part of the next gen sim community.
*pounce!* You know stuff about sim city 4?! I finally started trying to play it and I'm lost after playing the mayor tutorial! I'd love it if someone here made a sort of step by step guide to building and running a city and posted it in the sim city section!!!!
to be honest, I haven't played, i'm getting it next week with my new pc, cause my old pc is a (*censored*)
aaah ok! Well, were you good at older versions of sim city? I'm just today learning what the little yellow, blue, and green bars going above and below the center line mean... I could never tell if I wanted those to be above or below that line to mean it was doing well!!! That tells you how lost I've been!!
yeah, i have classic, 2000, and 3000 and i rock at them. I dont really pay attention to the bars, my adivisors in 3 just told me everything to do, there supposed to be for demand of zones.
*jumps out of the shadows at simzer* I got back before ya! But alas, I still need a computer. I hate boot-legging all the time. Will have access when I move in with Zanzibar. Welcome back to ya too!!
Uh, you do realized that you even replied to the rather rough-around-the-edges "guide" to city building I wrote in the SC4 sections, right? If not then go to www.gamefaqs.com like I suggested in the Other Gaming forums and check out the in depth guides for SC4 and many other great games.
