Days and Years Hey all, sorry if this has been asked before but I can't spot it so... I've heard that a day is 20 mins (maybe 24 minutes, like in the original), but how many of these "days" will make a sim year? So if I have a baby that will live to be (say) 80, how many minutes at normal speed will I be able to have that character? And are the different stages start ages (like toddler and teenager) set in stone? I mean does every baby become a toddler at 4? And will sims all die of old age around a certain age? Cheers all.
Hey there, Prima games has the aging section of their sims 2 strategy eguide available on their site for free.. http://www.primagames.com/games/downloads/eguides/ready/0761548335.pdf That may answer your question about the time span and how it works, but beware it contains some major spoilers.
According to one of the chats the aging goes like this: Baby: 3 Days Toddler: 4 Days Child: 8 Days Teen: 15 Days Adult: 29 Days Elder: 11-31 Days That help?
I'll probably just turn aging on/off a lot so that the sims age more like in real life. That way my favorite families won't die off so soon...
Muahahaha I wanna play with their lives. I dont want to develop real attachement to specific sims, cause I want the aging ON!
