The funniest thing... Well, hi everyone, I'm new here so this will be my first post Anyway, I had a couple (theyr'e dead now =/) in the Sims2, where the woman and the man was made to look like myself and my bf. I also gave them "our" personalities, and it was really fun playing with them. We soon become grandparents after having 3 sons. Everyone was living in the same house, so I had a busy time trying to keep everyone somewhat happy. There where 6 sims, Jasmine, Tommie and their sons Garrett and Sebastian (the third son, Dani, had moved out), and Garretts wife Andrea and their newborn baby. I'm just pointing out how many they were so you'll understand why things happened the way it did. One day I was focused on the first floor of the house, because the stove was on fire (Garrett is a bad cook, really), and in the meantime, Sebastian came home from school with the highest grades and had to run around screaming about that , while Andrea *really* needed to use the bathroom, but Tommie was in there, singing in the shower. Jasmine came down the stair from the upper floor. Well, she was and elder now, and mostly rested all the time, but I clicked on her to see if there was anything she needed. I was very surprised when I saw that her "socializing"bar (hope you'll understand what I mean) was all red, but I was even more surprised when I turned my eyes to the Jasmine on the screen again, and saw who was walking right behind her. A big yellow rabbit. I hovered the cursor above it, and it said something like "buddy bunny". Omg, I thought, "Have Jas gone insane?" Jasmine could do anything she wanted with this rabbit, talk, play and so on, so I let her do that, while watching in astonishment. Garrett finally realized that the fire wouldn't go out by itself with him standing in the way for the fireman, and when he passed by Jasmine and her bunny (I clicked Garretts portrait, the bunny was invisible to him), he gave Jasmine a glare and waved his indexfinger in circles at his head. I almost wet myself =) I hope my poor english and grammar doesn't make this post unreadable
I think the bunny stands for a Sim going seriously nuts because of social life deprivation. In other words, your Sim wasn't happy and made up an "imaginary friend" to make up for her lack of other contact. What happened to me today was instant insanity. I wanted to show a friend that mini-movie that runs once as soon as Sims that just recently moved into a new home sleep together ( woohoo ) for the first time. Well, unfortunately, the intended lover didn't want to woohoo and the other Sim lost 2,500 aspiration points... and ended up flopping from the bed to the floor, going gaga and talking to himself. Both my friend and I sat there dumbfounded for half a minute before we burst out laughing.
Thanks a lot, Rhaevyn =) Yes, I can imagine what that must have looked like Ningengirai But I never see the films, I don't know, theyr'e simply not showing. But I've seen them on my bf's game, and theyr'e really cute all of them =) I think it's because of my settings, my pc is very old, and can barely handle the game/graphics. It now looks like the Sims 1 =P Well, I've been saving money for a new pc, and I will buy one very soon...
Mmm, the buddy bunny is quite fun. I have met the little bugger once as well. The psychiatrist is fun too! Next time, make him the active sim. That's even funnier. You see, the buddy bunny and the psychiatrist are both imaginary friends, and invisible to everyone but the sim that summoned them. Thus, they can only be seen when that sim is the active sim. Your sim wasn't just talking to himself, he was talking to his imaginary shrink!
