    Maid For Love

So. Am I the only who's tried to romance the maid? I did and had her move in with the family. It was kinds cool actually, she brought in all her maxed out cooking and cleaning skills with her, and now I have free labor. But then I thought, I think I want to hire another maid. You know, just to see what my chances are... heh. I couldn't. So what would it take for me to be able to hire a maid again, kill the one I have at home?

You can't just call services and hire another one? Or maybe they'll even send you a new one the next day, since you didn't actually cancel services? The maids in my game are kinda like the town bikes, as they're involved with just about every romance sim in the neighborhood. Kinda rules them out as marriage material.

One of my sims married a maid and about a week later they let me hire a new one.

Same thing happened to me. I didn't have to re-hire a maid, he just showed up.

It'd be cooler if the service NPCs actually kept their jobs and went to work every day as those jobs, and only got replaced if they were fired or quit their job entirely.

I agree, I thought that would happen to. It would make more sense, wouldn't it? The car could come and take the maid off to work at 9, and by 10 she could be cleaning the neighbor's house like always.

no even if the is only living with you after about 9 or 10am an other maid should come by your house. I married my maid, she had maxed out cleaning and body:confused: . yeah i do not know why she had maxed out body. But maids should be able to keep their old jobs.
