no walls?? i just bought my copy of Sims 2 yesterday... i noticed that there arent any wall on the game at every house i move into... instead of houses all i see are fences... how do i fix this? man this is so fricking weird
Do you see little stumps that seperate the rooms from each other? Those are the "walls", viewed in wall down or cutaway mode: This is done to prevent the walls from obscuring your view of the actual surroundings. Click on the little button right below the leftmost button on the control panel marked with the little people, and it'll let you change the wall display mode.
Do those houses have foundations? Try clicking the little icon on the control panel that used to let you see the second floor in TS1 on one of those lots with just fences. If that doesn't fix it, I don't know what's up.
Hotkeys Page Up and Page Down raise and lower your view from floor to floor. Home and End change wall views. My guess is you are at ground level viewing your house's foundation, hit Page Up once or twice.
