Mental Mechanic Mahem (funny) All i wanted was her to fix the garbage compacter! Omg this is weird not a very good mechanic if u ask me! hehe
I don't get it The resolution on that picture is a tad lacking. I can't tell what it is you want me to see.
You're not the only one, I believe someone selected the wrong attachment there... Unless someone thinks the attached picture is actually hilarious of course, but that might have another cause then.
Sry Sry, hehe i had to go to bed before it finished that picture was not very good the Mechanic in the background is getting electricuted. heres a pic when the mechanic is leaving the house.
That's what they look like if they survive being electrocuted. If they are in a pretty good mood when they are electrocuted (especially if they are not hungry or tired when it happens), the will usually survive. But they are very hungry, very low hygiene and very tired when it's over. (My Sims seem to electrocute themselves on a pretty regular basis. Never, thankfully, lost one yet.)
LOL That was so funny. One of mine electrocuted himself the other day and I just burst out laughing cos he looked so funny gasping and staggering about still smouldering. Judging by what Kat says about survival I reckon I was lucky. He was in a foul mood when he torched himself, fun was at full red due to the TV being on the fritz and I wouldn't let him do anything til he'd fixed it. He hadn't got a single skill point so I was being a bit mean really. In the end I had to call out the repair man while smokey Joe entertained first the pink rabbit and then the trick cyclist.
My only fatality in the hood so far was electrocuted by the computer. I tried having his wife fix the same computer about 3 days later, and she zapped herself pretty good but survived. The funny part was when charcoal girl went out into the living room and started dancing. She looked like a Thriller reject!
hehe The best part was that mechanic i hired so must be a newbie u could c the bones when she was in the middle of being electriked fied i would have video taped it but i was so surprised when it happened i only managed to get a few photos out of aim:depressed: oh well
I don't know, but isn't one of the elementary rules of repairing or modifying electronics to cut all power to it? Also, the voltage coursing around through any normal computer, after going through the power supply, is a whopping 3-12 volts. My flatscreen's power cord has a box reducing the voltage to 12 before heading into the monitor. In fact, the reason to unplug electronics when repairing them is not to prevent harm from befalling the person, it's done to prevent harm to the electronics.
Yes, but, obviously, Sims don't know this. It's the same reason they seem to use gasoline as cooking oil, and can manage to electrocute themselves on the electronic panel of a weightlifting bench, which is usually powered by, like, 2 AA batteries. Sims are also extremely flammable, and a Sim who merely steps through a fire will burst into flames and burn to death unless extinguished, never mind that the human body is normally mostly water and is not that prone to burning unless you are extremely fat. And the fact that they run into fires in the first place. Most NORMAL people, when freaking out from a fire, run AWAY from it. Only people like me are crazy enough to try to roast marshmallows over it, but we're not doing the freak-out dance, either. And you gotta love how they do this EVERY time, like they've never seen a fire before. I don't know about you, but after about the 8th time the kitchen explodes in flames, I'd be pretty jaded by this.
