Cant change resolution back ! :( I've just changed to a strange resolution 960*400 or someyhing like this :embarrassed: And now i can't change it back because i can only see half of the screen, and cant see the lower part Anyone can help me ? Any way to force to start the game with 800x600 Any file i can change the resolution manualy ? Thanx in advance :classic:
right click the application, and select properties. Under Target, change it to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSBin\Sims2.exe" -w This will put the game into window mode to allow you change it. Afterwards, edit your resolution settings, and go back in and change to: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSBin\Sims2.exe"
Or you could do what Josh said, but instead of adding -w, add -r1024x768 or whatever resolution you normally play at (so if you play on 800 by 600, -r800x600). This will make the game boot up in this resolution, full screen, at startup, but won't stop it from being changed.
