    Since they have...

Dorms in Sims2 university ep, would it now be possible to use that concept for apartments?
It would be like the dorm rooms but bigger and your neighbours would be NPC's as well. You wouldn't be able to tear down walls but perhaps decorate a bit. I live in an apartment and would like to simulate my life down to the minute detail. this of course is just an opinion, I am addicted to this game... but would like to see this intergrated. they never did it for sims 1 ( correct me if I am wrong).

I tried to make an apartment complex with Sims 1, and found it too difficult. People kept walking into each other's apartments and cooking food or sleeping in their beds. (I guess it was just a close building. lol)

I remember reading in one of the preliminary press releases that it would be possible to make apartment complexes, old folks homes, and even communes with Sims 2. I am guessing now that they were talking about the roomate option in "create-a-Family."

Kristalrose you do agree that it would be a nice feature.

I have tried as well to create an apartment building but there are limitations. One being that you are limited to 8 (I think) sims on one lot in sims2. So it would defeat the purpose to only have 8 sims in one apartment building:) . And as well I had the problem that you had in sims1, ppl just walked into other ppl's apartments. Well I bet Maxis has already thought of this but is there a place where I could perhaps send them a suggestion for a new ep?

I'm really hoping they introduce new living arrangements with each EP. So, apartments would make sense with this one, and it'd be quite cool to be able to create kibbutzim and other types of communes as well. Also the ability to share wealth among different families to create a kind of commonwealth would be interesting. One of the things I really appreciate about TS2 is the relative flexibility of living arrangements - you can get people to move in and out taking various numbers of people with them, which can create interestingly-put together families. I'd like this flexibility to be reflected in the number of ways you can have your Sims live - enabling communal as well as separate living to a greater extent than at present shouldn't be too hard, should it?, and would also make the game even more flexible and allow more 'storytelling', to appeal to current Maxispeak :p.
