Now that's how you get this lurker to speak up, talk about Idol! I'm a huge fan. I'm torn between Bo and Constantine, though. Like Simon said, Bo has the better voice, but Constantine has more charisma. I am really leaning toward Bo, though, just because he has the best rock voice the show has seen so far, and it's nice to see someone up there who calls himself a rocker and can actually back that up. So who are you rooting for?
Yeah, I've been following it a bit. Nobody that I'm rooting for in particular... I did notice that they seem to have a new stage, which I am not at all fond of. Actually, I am very disappointed to see that John Stevens (from last year) didn't try out again. I thought he was really good (Something I'm sure many other people would disagree with)... but as Simon said, he went with Latin music like "Chocolate ice-cream and an onion..."
Ahh, American Idol. Over here in the UK we have the original Pop Idol and the winner of the first series is already a has-been! (Gareth Gates) Is Simon Cowell just as evil as he is in the original show? He's actually doing a new one called X Factor 2 sometime this year (there's already been an X Factor here last year, they're doing a 2nd one. Dunno what happened to the winner. Never heard his single).
No more I actually stopped watching after Clay Aiken didn't win. I thought it wasn't fair. I watched a little the next season and was horrified at the girls in the top 3. The just wouldn't have compared with Clay or Kelly Clarkson. Now Simon, on the other hand.....he knows that women are attracted to cocky guys which he definately is. He's hot!-yet not hot enough to keep me watching!
Somebody please tell me they booted that Fran Drescher sound-alike Mikaelah (I totally missed the fianl results tonight). I like Bo, Nadia, and Constantine. I like Bo because he's got it all going on and rock is ready for a Renaissance IMO. Constantine's got the charm, but his voice, while nice, isn't nearly as strong. And Nadia is just really good.
The Nanny's gone I'm sure you know by now that Makayla is gone. Thank god. I couldn't even listen when she sang, I turned the volume down. My favorites are Bo, Vonzelle and Carry. Who's your favorite?
Makayla reminded me of Fran Drescher trying to sing. I was so glad to see her go. I'm sure some people really liked her, but her voice quality just irritated me. I like Bo and Nadia
