How Do I I'm on fire. Help.

I'm on fire. Help.

So my stove went up in fire, and in trying to put it out, i was put on fire.
My fire alarm called the fire department, and all was put out in my kitchen,
but I wasn't. My sim ran up to the bathtub, and jumped in.

But I'm STILL on fire, and i can't find any way to put it out. When I
go into the swimming pool, my backside is still on fire (which is funny
to see in it's own right, i must admit).

Is this a known bug? Is there anything i can do about it?

Being aflame, i lose cash every few seconds, and it's not so great.

I wish I had something more constructive than the above guys to help you with, but I don't. I have never been on fire and not gone out. Does it stay that way when you start your game again? If it does uhm...

I think this sounds like the same "emitter" problem that causes a clean sim to have bubbles coming out of their rear ends. LOL Your sim is not really on fire, but the animation is stuck. If your sim was really on fire, "Grimmy" would have already shown up by now. Though I really don't know why you're loosing money. That's really weird. Are you sure that you don't have a service sim around, like the gardener in the backyard??

Aw yeah! We must have screenshots. I had this happen once but didn't capture it cos I was so busy laughing. My sim didn't jump into the bath though he did leap about lot trying to beat out the flames on his <ahem> 'seat' ... sorta like a puppy chasing its tail. However that mishappenstance occurred outdoors with a barbeque and there was no smoke alarm so no firefighter turned up and poor old smokey-pants curled up on the deck and tamely surrended to Grimmy's cursory summations with clipboard and aethereal cell-phone .... duh-duh-de-duh-duh de-duh-de-duh-de-duh

this one i got to try ). It would be sooooooooo funny, i've had them catch on fire before but that was in TS1 havn't tryed it yet in TS2. If i get it i will screen shot it and be pissing myself laughing as well lol
