Amazing Race 7 - DOWN WITH ROB AND AMBER! ARGH! I was watching The Amazing Race 7 tonight...and a car flipped over...and some people got hurt. One team that was following behind 5 minutes later stopped...and then they (Rob and Amber) came up, but drove along.. Plus they didn't even stopped to ask if they were okay...and every other team at least stopped by and ask if they were okay...but these guys, drove right along, even though they looked...and they even saw the flipped car....GRRR AWFUL PEOPLE!
I find it very funny that the Brothers seemed to get into 6th place right infront of the team who had the guy with the "Jonathan-like" anger.
We haven't even finished watching Amazing Race 6 over here yet, and me, being the curious kinda person that I am, can't help but look at every single new thread. I'm just glad that you haven't told us who wins yet. Ok, please don't tell me who wins!!!!
I hated Rob "Anything to Win" in Survivor All-Stars. I especially hated the way he pulled that fake sob-story about how he wanted to win so bad he lost sight of everything and stabbed so many people he considered his friends in the back all while shedding crocodile tears, and then, they went and were convinced and gave him the $1 million. Of course, by then, he'd manuevered his girlfriend into second so he could have his cake and eat it too, but any victory over evil Rob would have been a small one. It's good to see he's following true to form by loosing sight of his humanity in the drive to win. At least I don't think this game has jury he convince with an ersatz sob-story at the end. I hope he loses and loses big.
I've not seen it myself (don't have cable or satellite) but Rob and Amber sound like winners to me. I mean, isn't it a bit judgemental to criticise a contestant for having a strong determination to win. As winners of previous contests they have both shown they have winning natures and such people have good, fast judgement and reflexes. (You don't win by making wrong choices ... or by over-reacting!) I myself have driven past road accidents when it has been obvious that there are already sufficient people on the scene and cell phones are being used. What more could any extra passers by do? Except perhaps to add to the congestion and crowding in the vicinity of the accident, thereby encouraging that well known phenomenon of rubbernecking and potentially causing more (and worse) accident and injury to more people! Having said all that I did a quick Google and Rob and Amber look like a complete pair of smart arses! So maybe they will come unstuck ...
Did I forget to mention how he spent all his camera time talking about what a bunch of losers the other contestants were and he played all of them?
Nope, it was Jonathon and Victoria, they got booted off last night....Yay!!! Now I'm just going to wait for them to be on Dr Phil....that should be interesting.
Why does Rob keep saying that he or "we" won Survivor? He didn't win, did he? I thought she did (Amber)? I especially loved the way the two guys wouldn't let them share the taxi!
I've thought this over a million times Mirelly, and no matter what, I can't think of ANY excuse, not even the race/competition, that they could not stop even for one minute and even ask if the occupants were okay. It's not like they are all total strangers like on the side of the highway but they are still race opponents.
He won because no matter which of them won, he won. He got Amber, so if she won the money, he won. If he won the money, he still got Amber. It was totally win/win for him. He was such an arrogant, obnoxious little jerk about it too when the camera was just on him. I'm so glad the second million went to Rupert.
Has anyone noticed, every time "Boston" Rob says something about 'his money' and how 'he won it', Amber usually has a face of disgust on?
