Please help I cant make strawberry w/o content I cant seem to load the custom content packages...in TS2U. I thought that maybe we could download characters,houses and lots but after i do the game says to double click a content package file. Heres the path mydocuments/eagames/sims2...then what because no matter what custom content file I double click the sims2bodyshop opens up. What program do I need to open it? Better yet what am I doing wrong? This is my first time downloading content off the internet so please be technical in your response..thanx
Ohh Yeah plus tell me some really cool places to download simstuff,like pink hair. I hear it can be Simsational. plus whats with the groups thing y do u need one i know a lot of questions but somebody's gotta break me in then I can master this strawberry style
sigh ... there's a lot of threads covering this that can be found by using the search facility of this bulletin board. But here's a quick 101. If you have downloaded a file that ends in .zip (dot zip) it needs to be unzipped If the file unzips to .package (dot package) it needs to be placed in mydocs/eagames/thesims2/downloads (spaces omitted from that filepath) If the file unzips to .sims2pack (dot sims2pack) it needs to be double-clicked so that the the game's built-in content installer will install it for you. Did you actually try reading the installation instructions (or read me) files that came with your downloads? Forgive me for sounding cynical but you do not indicate that you have tried very hard either to avoid problems or else adequately to explain what problems you are having.
