I don't think development could have been that fast...but then again I might be wrong.

Could it be the village drunk talking or eastbay talking :p

I doubt that the EP has gone gold yet. Hopefully they're listening to the community about the whole Vampire thing and maybe doing some last minute tweaking to the way the game plays.

But, I don't think anyone would be surprised to hear that they're working on 4 or 5 of the expansions simultaneously.

I'm pretty confident to say that after walking inside the Maxis offices, they don't take on such simultaneous expansion pack coding. I know in terms of development, they do tend to brainstorm a lot, get ideas, some delayed for future expansion packs.

Flashback to last summer: All of us sitting around making Sims on Body Shop and wondering what will TS2 be like, having a countdown to release day, etc.

Flashback to February: Same thing, only now it's University, and we're worrying about how our downloads are going to work with it and talking about homicidal cowplants. ;)

It will be like that all over again. I'll say one thing for EA Games's Marketing Department, they sure do know how to get us worked up in a frenzy, don't they? LOL
